Plastic model kit of Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri ('Hummingbird'), a single-seat intermeshing rotor helicopter, or synchropter, produced by Anton Flettner of Germany. In 1942 German Navy began testing a total of twenty prototypes, by 1943 twenty-four Fl 282s were being built, with twenty used by the Kriegsmarine for convoy protection in the Mediterranean and Aegean seas.
Kit has engraved panel lines, detailed drivers (seat, gears and dash panel), detailed upper gearbox and radial engine (single piece engine propeller, mount and accessories), optional engine doors, separate (rotor blades and rudder), detailed undercarriage, photoetch (engine and accessories, engine doors, seatbelts and other accents).
