Introduction

Turbomeca Do Brasil (TMB) was the first international site created by Turbomeca in 1977. Primarily dedicated to Arriel 1 operations in Brazil, TMB expanded in 1983 with the introduction of its Customer Support department and Repair facility. Today, TMB is managed by François Haas and employs 253 people.

The Customer Support department is managed by two Front Office Managers, Luis Cravo dedicated to civil market and Roberto Tavares, in charge of the military market.  Both teams are composed of a team of Customer Support Managers (CSM), Customer Support Representatives, Field Representatives and Field Technicians.  The teams support over 450 operators in 6 countries, totaling more than 1,400 engines.

In addition to its Customer Support activities, TMB is certified to repair, overhaul and test Arriel 1, Arriel 2, Makila 1 and Makila 2 engines.

With its own Certified Maintenance Center (CMC), TMB provides maintenance level 1-3 services for Arrius, Arriel, Makila engines and accessories throughout the region. In addition to this CMC, 5 other Certified Maintenance Centers form the Turbomeca worldwide network, in particularly in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru.
