Three Wing was founded in 1974 with a single goal in mind: to provide the best possible aircraft to the New England aviation community. As word of our excellent planes spread our membership rapidly expanded. Since many people expressed their interest in learning to fly, we established our Flight School in 1977. For more than 30 years our excellent instructors have been training students to the highest level of proficiency, encouraging an attitude of "continuous learning."
In the early eighties, we realized that in order to maintain our own aircraft (and those of our customers) to the best possible standard, we needed to "do it ourselves." We built a hangar facility for our maintenance & avionics department and hired a staff without equal, boasting more than 160 man/years of aircraft service experience!
We've expanded the other services we provide to include Avgas and JetA fueling, deicing, aircraft detailing, pilot supplies, catering, a flight simulator and much more. Since our aircraft are kept in such pristine condition, our aircraft sales department enjoys a brisk trade. Many of the aircraft on our flight line are leased back from pilots we've trained, a testimony to their level of customer satisfaction!
