“Special Needs and Family Day was a by-invitation-only event designed to accommodate those with a physical, intellectual, or emotional condition, as well as the elderly or anybody who may have difficulty getting through the crowds during the Arctic Thunder Open House, July 30 and 31,” he explained. “The Exceptional Family Member Program coordinators on JBER invited people in assisted living facilities to attend, which also was a good day for the performers to practice for the weekend 2016 Arctic Thunder Airshow!”
