Cutter Aviation broke ground today on an expansion of its FBO terminal at Colorado Springs Municipal Airport, wher it has had a presence since 2006 when it acquired former FBO Discount Fuels. The event was attended by Colorado Springs mayor John Suthers, airport director Dan Gallagher and other local officials, as well as Cutter executives and employees.
The company has doubled its leasehold to 16 acres and purchased a 23,000-sq-ft hangar capable of sheltering a Boeing 737, which brings its aircraft storage space on the field to 132,000 sq ft. It recently completed a 62,000-gallon fuel farm.
