Flooding in South Louisiana has devastated the region and displaced tens of thousands of residents. While the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (KBTR) did not sustain any damage from the flooding, one-third of the airport’s staff lost most, if not all, of their possessions.
Friends of the Baton Rouge Airport, a non-profit corporation, is seeking funds to help 22 members of the Baton Rouge Airport family who lost everything.
A GoFundMe account has been created to assist those employees. To date, more than $11,00 has been raised towards the $25,000 goal.
