Information of TTFLY: The Frasca Bell Helicopter 407 Level 7 flight training device at the Helicopter Flight Training Center has been FAA-certified for night-vision goggle (NVG) capabilities.

The certification allows the training center to switch the cockpit from analog to glass for inadvertent instrument meteorological conditions training — with eight projector screens providing low, medium and high illumination NVG training. The transition takes four hours, according to the center's director, Terry Palmer.
