Information of TTFLY: Airbus Helicopters has delivered the first H175 to be operated in the Americas. The helicopter arrived in Mexico, wher it has joined the fleet of Transportes Aereos Pegaso for air transport in the offshore industry off the Gulf of Mexico. It will also support seismic exploration activities in the gulf.

The company, which already operates 30 other Airbus helicopters, is the first to operate the H175 in North America. A second is expected to be delivered next year.

Pegaso has also signed for 10 H145s last year, among the first Latin American customers to do so.

The H175 has been supporting the oil and gas industry in the North Sea and in Western Africa since its entry into service in December 2014. The first VIP version was recently delivered to a European customer. A public services configuration for search and rescue, emergency medical services and law enforcement is expected late next year.
