Japanese low-cost carrier Peach Aviation announced Thursday that it will launch two routes from Osaka Kansai and Tokyo Haneda to Shanghai from November.
The Osaka-Shanghai service will commence on November 1, followed by its Haneda-Shanghai service one day later. Both routes will be operated five-times weekly using Airbus A320s.
Peach Aviation will compete with six carriers on the Haneda-Shanghai route, including Spring Airlines, Juneyao Airlines and Japan Airlines. And it will go up against eight other carriers on the Osaka-Shanghai route, including China Eastern Airlines, Air China and Spring Airlines.
