ASA has released the seventh edition of Inspection Authorization Test Prep, designed for Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMT) seeking an Inspection Authorization (IA) qualification, as well as for AMT schools preparing students for the IA test.

The new edition provides the information and resources needed to pass the FAA Knowledge Exam and helps IA candidates become familiar with the privileges and limitations of the highest level of maintenance certification, according to ASA officials.

The IA Test Prep compiles pertinent excerpts from the needed reference materials into one volume, resulting in a streamlined and organized study program for AMT schools, instructors, and individuals alike.

The nearly 500 sample questions typify those that candidates are likely to encounter, and train readers in the use of the available documents.
