United Airlines' first Boeing 777-300ER has rolled out of the paint hangar in Everett, Washington, nearly 22 years after the carrier took delivery of the first 777.
The first 777-300ER, Registration N58031, is equipped with two GE-90-115B1b engines, which are among the largest engines in the world by diameter.
The Chicago-based carrier is scheduled to take delivery of the aircraft from Boeing in late December, with entry-into-service slated for February 2017.
The aircraft will also debut United's new Polaris business class product, which features enhanced dining, special lounges, and a fully lie-flat seat. Polaris is expected to launch on December 1, 2016.
United has firm orders for 14 777-300ERs, which will complement its fleet of 74 777-200s.
