Wr Bar Helicopters can now offer Airbus Helicopters AS350B simulation training, the company said, thanks to the delivery of an Elite Simulation Services MH-350 advanced aviation training device. The FAA-approved simulator is based on the single-engine Airbus Écureuil.

The new simulator adds to Wr Bar’s list of services, which currently includes annual and biannual currency check rides, ATC and IFR preparation, and turbine transition training. The female-owned and operated company’s location in the Gulf of Mexico emphasizes the importance of both IFR and VFR skills, due to changing weather patterns. Featuring worldwide navigation data, visual scenery with more than 22,000 airports, dynamic weather models and visible precipitation, users can practice a variety of maneuvers in applicable environments, including offshore oil rigs.
