Pennsylvania’s Allegheny Health Network LifeFlight program can now operate a refurbished Airbus Helicopters EC145, thanks to a PAC International delivery, the company said.
The interior now has a reconditioned Metro Aviation emergency medical service interior, ADS-B and wide area augmentation system (WAAS) upgrades, and an updated Outerlink IRIS flight tracking, monitoring and communication system.
Complete with an exterior updat featuring company branding, the helicopter was delivered on schedule. LifeFlight is an operations customer of its parent company, Metro Aviation. PAC also provides helicopter completion and customization services for Bell Helicopter, Airbus, Leonardo, Sikorsky and MD Helicopters aircraft.
