Genesys Receives Russian Certification for HeliSAS

Tips:Genesys Aerosystems and its Russian distributor, HELIATICA, have received a supplemental type certificate for the HeliSAS Stability Augmentation System and Autopilot on Robinson Helicopter models R44 and R66; and Airbus Helicopters H125s and H130s.

Genesys Aerosystems and its Russian distributor, HELIATICA, have received a supplemental type certificate for the HeliSAS Stability Augmentation System and Autopilot on Robinson Helicopter models R44 and R66; and Airbus Helicopters H125s and H130s.

Genesys’ FAA STCs had to be validated by Russia’s certification authority, the Aviation Register of the Russian Federation within Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency.

The two companies have been working together since October 2015, when Genesys selected the Russian supplier as a distributor for its products in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Genesys is unveiling its cockpit demonstrator at its booth (8606) today. MD Helicopters, with Genesys, said at Heli-Expo today it has chosen Genesys’ IDU-680 cockpit for its MD 902 Explorer and MD 530G Scout Attack helicopters.
