Milestone Aviation Group and GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) have opened a new office in Sydney, GE said.

“Now that we are on the ground with our Australian customers, we can provide them with better service and the most efficient financial structures,” said Robert Dranitzke, EVP of Commercial for Milestone. “With our new office in place and our continued focus on providing customized financing solutions to our Australian customers, we are expecting exponential growth in the next few years.”

GE has investments and assets on lease in Australia to operators including Babcock, Bristow, CHC Helicopter and LifeFlight Australia, as well as other fixed-wing operators. Milestone was acquired by GE Capital Aviation Services in 2015.
