Jet Support Services Inc. (JSSI) now provides airframe parts-only coverage for Sikorsky S-76, S-76+, S-76C++ and S-76D, the company said at the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE). These aircraft add to JSSI’s S-92 coverage.

The program allows customers to pay one hourly rate for parts that require replacement due to life-limit expiration or unscheduled failure relating to both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, JSSI said. Its programs, like Airframe Parts-Only, can help manage maintenance risk, according to JSSI’s director of business development, Kyle Sale.

“JSSI Parts-only programs are designed for owner/operators who perform their own maintenance and seek to manage the financial risks associated with the ever-fluctuating costs of parts required for both scheduled and unscheduled events,” Sale told R&WI. “JSSI programs are specifically designed to stabilize the maintenance operating budget, mitigate the risk of unforeseen failures, and protect the residual value of the asset. Managing maintenance risk is critical to the success of helicopter operations and programs like this can be an excellent solution.”
