Robinson Helicopter Co. has received FAA certification for its R44 Cadet. The trainer has the same airframe, rotor system and power plant as the R44 Raven I, but the rear seats have been removed to provide cargo space, with a max gross weight of 2,200 lb. The engine power has also been derated to 210 hp takeoff and 185 hp continuous.
