CAAC Fines Etihad Airways 10,000 Yuan for Violating Dangerous Goods Regulation

Tips:The CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration has fined Etihad Airways 10,000-yuan, for violating the regulations on transporting dangerous goods.

Informationg of TTFly: The CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration has fined Etihad Airways 10,000-yuan, for violating the regulations on transporting dangerous goods.

According to a statement released by the regional administration on June 3, the carrier was engaged in dangerous goods transportation on flight EY9973 (Almaty-Zhengzhou route) on March 25 without getting permission from the aviation authority.

Etihad Airways violated the Article 92 of the Regulation on the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (CCAR-276-R1), failure to get permission with regard to the incident of the transport of dangerous goods by air as provided for.

Therefore, the aviation administrative department imposed a fine of 10,000 yuan in line with Article 133 of the Regulation (CCAR-276-R1).
