Information of TTFly: A UPS Airlines McDonnel Douglas MD-11, Registration N277UP performing freight flight 5X61 from Seoul to Anchorage, Alaska, skidded off runway at Incheon International Airport on Monday night, Yonhap News reported.
The incident happened while the plane was departing on the airport's 15R/33L runway around 10:45 p.m. local time.
The MD-11 aircraft stopped partially off the runway; however, the nose gear collapsed. And the four crew members onboard evacuated the aircraft safely.
Incheon International Airport closed the runways, saying operations are unaffected with the other two runways.
The incident is under investigation.
