Tips:Hardcore war epidemic! Singapore deploys drones to monitor social distance

According to Reuters, the Singapore police are currently trialing two dronesdeveloped by Israel’s Airobotics to help implement social distancing measures aimed at curbing the spread of the epidemic.

The drone weighs 10 kilograms and can be programmed to track abnormal situations including gatherings and send videos to the police. In addition, they can accurately locate and zoom in areas that the police cannot see.

Airobotics, which has raised US$120 million, said it has invested about US$100 million in the development of drones.

In May, the Singapore government sent a four-legged robot called Spot to monitor the crowds and remind people to keep a safe distance. Spot is a yellow robot dog, which can neither bite nor catch people. During non-peak hours, it will play a recording of "Please keep Singapore healthy" in a plain area of 3 kilometers long to remind visitors to keep a safe distance.
