According to the announcement on the GE website on November 23, 2021, LM Wind Power, a renewable energy company owned by GE, announced that it will produce zero-waste blades in 2030.

LM Wind Power will reuse or recycle all excess materials generated during the blade manufacturing process to replac traditional landfill or incineration methods. In addition, the company will also work with suppliers to reduce waste and carbon emissions during the blade manufacturing process.
