CR929 is a long-range wide-body aircraft jointly developed by ComAC and Russia Joint Manufacturing Group. CR stands for the English initials of the two countries. The basic type of CR929 has a range of 12,000 km and 280 seats in standard three cabins. Last year, the overall technical scheme of the aircraft was basically determined and the preliminary design work was started. Russia has recently begun building a prototype wing structure for the aircraft.
