According to a report on the "Flight International" website, the French Minister of Defense recently stated that it has ordered a total of 169 Airbus H160M helicopters for its navy, land and air forces, and the delivery will begin in 2027.

According to the contract, the first batch of 30 aircraft will be delivered, including 21 Army type, 8 Navy type and 1 Air Force type. The French Minister of Defense stated that a single model provides services for different military services and is the first choice for reducing costs and increasing aircraft availability. It is reported that H160M is a new dual-engine 6.5-ton military modified helicopter of Airbus, which is expected to enter commercial service in 2022.
