BOC Aviation Limited ("BOC Aviation" or the "Company") is pleased to announce its latest transaction with P.T. Lion Mentari ("Lion Air Group") comprising two Boeing 737-800 and two 737-900ER aircraft.
The first of the two 737-900ER aircraft in the transaction was delivered on July 28, 2016.
BOC Aviation has provided purchase-and-leaseback solutions to Lion Air Group since 2012, covering more than 20 Boeing 737NG aircraft.

Lion Air Group is a group of airlines headquartered in Indonesia and comprising the following brands: Lion Air, Wings, Batik Air, Malindo Air and Thai Lion Air. The group, which has the largest market share in Indonesia, was founded in 2000 with one aircraft and now operates a fleet of 230 aircraft. It is the launch customer of the Boeing 737-900ER and will also be the first to fly the Boeing MAX-8 and the launch customer of Boeing MAX-9.
