Preparing Pilots for a Regional Airline Position
Aerosim Flight Academy’s Airline Transition Training course is a 2-week course designed to prepare students for their first airline job. This course includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and 15 hours in a CJR Trainer. The amount of time spent in the FTD is unmatched by our competitors. Aerosim Flight Academy’s instructors have experience flying in part 121 Air Carrier Operations and offer real life knowledge not found in any manual.
JetPac™ Courseware
As an additional bonus to this program, students will receive Aerosim’s CRJ200 JetPac™ program. JetPac™ includes approximately 8-10 hours of simulation based training designed to introduce students to “Glass Cockpit” concepts to confidently manage the Autopilot, EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument System) and FMS (Flight Management System). The program also introduces the changes in pilot roles resulting from high-tech automation and will familiarize the student with new procedures and terminology.
The software also includes a Flight Management System Trainer (FMST) for freeplay practice. Aerosim FMST’s are used by airlines around the world to train pilots to operate Flight Management Systems in a variety of aircrafts.
