There is no time like the present to become a professional pilot. You start your aviation career with a Private Pilot's Licence, then work your way through a Commerical Pilot's Licence.

The holder of a valid Transport Canada Commerical Pilot's License may:

exercise the privileges of Pilot-in-Command of any aircraft engaged in commercial air services wher the documented minimum flight crew is one per aircraft (i.e. air taxi operation)

exercise the privileges of a Co-Pilot of any aircraft type that is endorsed on his or her license

Many of our students have gone on to fly for regional or major airlines, float and bush operations, corporate operations as well joining the Air Force.

Your flight training will consist of ground school instruction, simulator training and in-flight instruction. You must pass both a written exam and a flying exam to receive your license.

Flying is done at your own pace. Ideally, you would fly two or three flights per week to keep your skills sharp. After you complete your Private Pilot's License, it is possible to complete your Commerical Pilot's License in about six months. By the way, a portion of both your Private Pilot's License and Commerical Pilot's License is tax deductable.
