Apache’s roots are in manufacturing. Prior to 1990, Apache’s primary business was the fabrication of airframe spare parts for military aircraft. The company’s considerable fabrication capability was an essential element of its successful entry into the NVIS lighting market. To implement its current focus on NVIS lighting, the company made adaptations to its facility and equipment resources over the past few years.
Apache has achieved notable success in the fabrication of avionics upgrade kits. Its diverse manufacturing capability has allowed the company to become a “one-stop-shop” for aircraft modification customers. Turnkey modification kits can include “black boxes”, cables, sheet metal parts, machined parts, electro-mechanical assemblies and miscellaneous hardware. Apache has provided the following modification kits:
GPS
ARC – 210
GPWS
SATCOM
Communication
GAS – 1
