  • Description
  • “New United Goderich Inc. takes immense pride in the quality of our heavy maintenance Part 145 capabilities. We can provide services for both scheduled and unscheduled heavy maintenance occurrences to our clients.”

    Scheduled Heavy Maintenance Services:

    C Check:

A heavy inspection that is performed approximately every 20–24 months or a specific amount of actual flight hours or as defined by the manufacturer. This check is much more in-depth than a B Check, requiring the large majority of an aircraft’s components to be inspected. This pulls the aircraft out of service and the aircraft must remain at a maintenance facility until completed. The schedule of occurrence has many factors and components as has been described, and thus varies by aircraft category and type.

    D Check:

The most comprehensive and demanding check for an aircraft. This check occurs approximately every six years. It requires almost the entire aircraft to be taken apart for inspection and overhaul. Occasionally, the paint may need to be removed for inspection of the fuselage metal skin.

Given the time requirements of this check, many operators use the opportunity to also make major modifications to the aircraft. New United Goderich Inc. is able to provide a vast array of Interior and Exterior solutions to our clients during a D Check. Please review our services for details on new seats, entertainment systems, carpeting, paint etc.

    Unscheduled Heavy Maintenance Services:

Not many AMO/MROs are qualified to provide of the level of unscheduled heavy maintenance that we can.

Our technicians are highly skilled in both sheet metal and composite aircraft repairs allowing us to provide full aircraft structural maintenance support.

Some of the tasks we can perform are:

    Corrosion Control and Prevention

    Accident Re-building and Repair

Restoration of the Structural Integrity of an Aircraft

    Aircraft Life Extension

    Major and Minor Aircraft Modifications

Composite Repair of All Major Components and Control Surfaces

All Major Component Refurbishments (Wings, Horizontal or Vertical Stabilizer)

    Fairing Repair

    Welding

    FAA/EASA Certified Repair

Repairs Requiring Replacement by Service Bulletins or Airworthiness Directives

    Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

    Structural Inspection, Repairs and Fabrication

As some aviation accidents requiring Heavy Maintenance repair can be both unexpected and unscheduled. We will work with you to coordinate the aircraft’s arrival to our facility and its return to safe operation as quickly as possible, no matter the circumstances.
