Skilled and licensed mechanics, superior customer service, and on-time reliability held at the highest of standards.
Legacy Aviation offers full service aircraft maintenance mainly focusing on single engine and light twin aircraft. Our full service maintenance shop is ideally located at one of the busiest general aviation airports on the east coast. We specialize in Piper, Cessna, and Grumman but also service Bonanza, Diamonds, Cirrus, and more. As we continue to expand we will be adding on Citation and light jets. We always use manufacturer recommended checklists to perform all services regardless of whether your aircrafts needs are routine, scheduled, or unscheduled.
Stemming from decades of performing maintenance for Hortman Aviation, our mechanics already understand the needs of each individual aircraft owner. We’ve seen it all and repaired it all. Whether it be single engines, twins or even turbines you can rest assured knowing our mechanics are thoroughly knowledgeable in their fields.
Experience the legacy that generations of skilled aviation professionals in the Hortman family handed down in creating one of the most inclusive maintenance shops around. We pride ourselves in being a one-stop shop. Our large hangar allows us to work on aircraft of just about any size therefore minimizing wait times in between servicing multiple aircraft.
The flight-school fleet we carefully manage speaks for itself. When your aircraft is in our care you can expect it to be handled as if it were one of our own. Everyone is given a safety certification training course for ground handling of aircraft and all of our towing is performed by tow-certified personnel.
Gone are the worries of waiting for the shop to call. During your visit with Legacy Aviation we will set you up to receive personal daily updates by email referring to the status of your aircraft. Even if parts need to be ordered we will still give you an estimated time of arrival and installation. Included in these free updat notifications are also up to the minute reports on airworthiness directives during annual performances.
We encourage all to join our Facebook page and post photos of your aircraft and adventures within our community. We love seeing pictures of those new parts or that spectacular shine your aircraft received after havin completed an annual with us!
