  • Description
  • If you are considering a career as a professional pilot, Aeros can help you achieve that goal with our modular commercial pilot training programme.

Before starting the Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL) course, we recommend that you complete our COMPASS Pilot Aptitude Assessment that will indicate to you the ease with which you are likely to complete the course, and any areas that you may need to address.

The Commercial Pilots Licence course, once successfully completed, allows you to be paid to fly commercially. When combined with the MEP, ME/IR and MCC/JOC courses, you are able to apply for employment as a First Officer in an airline. Alternatively, when combined with our Flight Instructor course, you can then train other students to gain their pilot licences.

The Aeros Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL) course is a 25-hour course typically completed over a period of three weeks conducted in both the “non-complex” Piper Warrior aircraft and the “complex” Piper Arrow aircraft equipped with a variable-pitch propeller and retractable undercarriage.

At the end of the course, you will complete a CPL Skills Test with an examiner demonstrating both your navigation and general aircraft handling skills. Our Commercial Pilots Licence success rate is something that we are particularly proud of. Our first series pass rate currently stands close to 100%.
