Premier Flight Training Flying an EASA Approved Training Organisation (0312):

We offer The EASA Private Pilots Licence

This EASA Licence requires a MINIMUM Total of 45 Hours Flight Time,

    which must include:

a minimum of 25 Hours Dual Flight Time.

A minimum of 10 Hours Solo Flight Time.

A Class 2 EASA Medical is required, and this has to be taken with a CAA Approved Doctor.

There is no maximum time period as such, and therefore you can spread the flying lessons to suit your time and pocket. However it is recommended to maintain continuity, that you should try to take a lesson at least every 2 weeks.

The EASA Light Aircraft Pilots Licence is a MINIMUM of 30 hours Flight time,

The LAPL has a more simple content to The EASA PPL, and the use of this Licence is more limited .

Both PPL Syllabii require completion of various ground subjects, and written examinations in those subjects.

We offer customised workbooks, ground school, and examination facilities on site.

To add to your EASA PPL we can offer a Night Qualification, and An Instrument Meteorology Condition Rating.

The Night Certificate is a course based on 5 hours of flight at night. 3 hours of which must be Dual flight, and 5 Solo Take Off and Landings must be logged. There must be at least 1 hour of Night Navigation included in the Dual.

The IMC Rating is a UK National Rating, and although can only be used in UK Airspace, it allows much greater flexibility and a greater margin of safety with regard to cross country flights.

The IMC rating is a Minimum course of 15 hours flying with reference to instrument flying and operational procedures. This Rating has been continued until 2019, by which time an EASA equivalent should be available.

Premier Flight Training also is pleased to offer An EASA Aerobatic Certificate . Depending on individual experience and expectations, this is a minimum of 5 hours Dual Aerobatic Flight. This starts with exploring the Aircrafts envelope at slow, and high speed. A good revision of all aircraft emergency procedures, and learning and practising the basic 5 Aerobatic Manoeuvres. More advanced courses are also possible.
