PP-UAV (Private Pilot – Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)
Throughout the last years, unmanned aerial vehicles have become a very popular hobby in the private sector. Although fun and relaxation are always paramount, a solid training must not be neglected as “hobby” pilots are subject to laws and regulations. For these pilots we have developed the PP UAV.
In our one-day training programme, we teach comprehensive know-how in theory and practice allowing you to safely use unmanned aircrafts. Together with professional pilots and trainers, you obtain knowledge of all legal and technical regulations providing you a certain degree of confidence. However, in doing so, we never lose sight of how things will work in practice. In this respect you benefit from the tremendous experience of our pilots, who not only have an extensive foundational knowledge but are also glad to show you some practical tricks.
The course fee is 350.00 € plus VAT.

Theory
The theoretical basis package of the training programme provides you a comprehensive overview of the most important regulations:
- Aviation law and permissions
- Configuration and function of the aircraft and its components
- Flight physics
- UAV technology
- Meteorology
- General and specific flight rules
- Safety instructions and flight checks
Practice
In the practical section you will receive comprehensive instructions how to handle the aircraft. For this purpose it doesn’t matter whether you are already experienced or if you are a beginner.
- Introduction to the aircraft
- Accident prevention
- Flight exercise: navigating inside a room / approaching position
- Flight exercise: starting and landing
- Flight exercise: flight manouvres
- Flight exercise outdoor: putting into practice what you have learned
Examination
The one-day training programme is concluded with a brief theoretical and practical examination, wher you demonstrate your understanding of flying and handling your unmanned aircraft. After you have successfully completed your test you will receive a certificate of completion.
