COMMERCIAL PILOT COURSE
Hub City Aviation provides Commercial Flight Training in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. Federal regulations mandate the following eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
18 years of age
Complete 250 hours of total flight time
Complete 100 hours of pilot-in-command (PIC)
Complete 10 hours Instrument training
Complete 10 hours in "complex" airplanes
Pass the FAA Commercial Pilot Knowledge Test
Pass the FAA Commercial Pilot Practical Test
The Course
Hub City Aviation's Commercial Pilot Course is broken down into three phases. The first phase consists of expanding the student's knowledge of VFR cross-countries and night operations. In phase two, a complex airplane, which will have a more powerful engine, variable pitch propeller, and retractable landing gear will be introduced. The last phase provides the instruction and practice needed for the student to become proficient as a commercial pilot, with or without an INSTRUMENT RATING.
