Description:
This course provides the necessary flight training and flight examination required by E.A.S.A Part F.C.L
Instrument Rating on a single engine piston aircraft.
Privileges of the Holder
The privileges of an IR(A) holder are to fly aeroplanes under IFR with a minimum decision height of
200 feet (60M).
Contents:
(option 1) 50 hours flight training with instructor on IFR trainer, however if this course
is taken in combination with a CPL course, the required flight training reduces to 40
hours.
(option 2) 15 hours flight training with instructor on IFR trainer, and 30 hours on FTPT
1 hours skill test on IFR trainer

Prerequisites:
Minimum Age : 17 years
Medical Certificate : Class II
Previous training :
PPL(A) with Night Rating or higher
50 Hours cross country as PIC
Theoretical training : IR theory or ATPL theory
