In the context of a project companionship was built an Airbus A320 cockpit. ITRA GmbH had developed the following componets for this project:
Flight simulator PC system with Microsoft FSX
Visual system with 3 beamers on a curved canvas with a length of 6 meters
Panel software for PFD-ND and ECAM and the control panel for captain und first officer side
Radio Management Panel for captain und first officer
Flight Control Unit
Electronic units for controlling and display of gear, brakes, warnings, flaps, speedbrake, throttle
All devices are connected over USB and controlled by SimConnect clients. All electronic parts are based on previous developements of ITRA GmH. We have designed new control devices that are near the original design and match to airbus panel plates of the avionic. The panel is employed for demonstration and training purpose.
