Southern Interior Flight Centre's programs are well respected and supported by key figures in the aviation industry. Our Program Advisory Committee helps steer the training towards the needs of both the pilot and the industry.

Many of our courses are supplied or augmented by aviation companies, employers and industry pilots.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO START FLYING?

You can actually start flying before you can legally drive a car! As long as you can read and write English, and can reach the controls, you can start your training. You do have to be 14 years old before we can let you practice on your own, and 17 before the final private pilot licence can be issued.
