МI-26 is  a heavy-lift multipurpose helicopter.

It is the largest series-produced transport helicopter in the world.

The helicopter is equipped with the external load system that enables it to carry standard shipping containers.

Multi-purpose stabilizing platform allows to accelerate its speed up to 200 km/h while transporting  oversize and long loads by means of external load system.

In addition MI-26 is equipped with automatic gripping device for gripping of wood in mountainous areas.

Due to its navigation and radio electronic equipment MI-26 is capable to cope with any tasks even at unfavorable light and weather conditions.

Nowadays more than 80 helicopters of MI-26 family are  operated in more than 15 countries of the world.
