Tecnam, Rotax, LSA, and GA Aircraft

To support our customers’ needs, we have two Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) mechanics, as well as Inspector Authorization (IA) on staff, with over 15 years combined experience in General Aviation maintenance. We service Tecnam, Rotax, LSAs, and GA Aircraft, which includes piston airplanes.

Inspections and Policies

Our normal procedure is to inspect the aircraft (with or without the customer) and to generate a list of discrepancies when the inspection is completed.  Extensive customer communication ensures that all issues and discrepancies are identified, and optimal solutions identified to accomplish and complete the Annual inspection.  Notably, our policies DO NOT allow customers to supply their own parts, unless customer has parts traceability and obtains prior approval.  For work that requires extensive repairs (such as an engine replacement, avionics installation, and such), customer shall pay for major components prior to work being started.

Professional Process & Affordable Costs

Our labor rate is $85.00 per hour, and our overtime rate is $95.00 per hour.  Our “Away From Shop” rate is $100.00 per hour, and includes travel time.  Payment is due when all work has been completed and the aircraft is ready for customer pick up or delivery. Updated log books and all paperwork will be provided to customer when work is completed, and customer accepts delivery.  First Landings accepts most credit cards. “After Hours” work is available, we require customer’s approval for any incurred overtime required to complete the work.
