Dead Face (DF) Connectors are designed to mate with Zero Separation Force (ZSF) Connectors. Our DF connectors are a fraction of the size of our competitors. Upon disconnect, the face of our connector provides a barrier to ensure that post separation shorting does not occur. Our DF Connectors tolerate linear and angular misalignment.  They are easy to install from the rear of the panel and are EMI, RFI and environmentally sealed.
