What is an Aircraft Alternator?

The aircraft alternator generates direct current for powering electrical loads and maintaining a fully charged battery.  Airplane alternators are capable of producing full rated output at a lower engine RPM than aircraft generators. Today’s general aviation aircraft have avionics and accessories that require electrical power from the beginning of every flight.  We utilize the extensive knowledge and experience of our technicians to achieve results that meet “real world” demands.  At Aircraft Accessories of Oklahoma, we take our quality standards very serious.

We overhaul, exchange, repair,  and bench check aircraft alternators. We also carry Factory Re-Man and New units.  An 8130-3 airworthiness certificate is available upon request.
