HAECO Xiamen is highly experienced in converting passenger aircraft to freighters. We have worked closely with our shareholder Boeing to become the first MRO to be approved to carry out the 747-400 passenger/combi to Boeing Converted Freighter conversions. To date, we have completed 40 Boeing Converted Freighters. In addition to carrying out the conversion, we can simultaneously carry out heavy maintenance up to a D-check and modifications, thereby saving time and money for the operator.

In addition to 747 conversions, since 2006 we have been developing our ability in the conversion of 737-300/400 aircraft under the PEMCO STC. 737 conversions can either be carried out in HAECO Xiamen, Xiamen, or STAECO, Jinan, giving greater flexibility on slots. HAECO Xiamen performed the first passenger to freighter conversion of a 757-200 in China, HAECO Xiamen utilized Precision STC for this modification.
