SPD is a device designed to ensure a safe Bluetooth technology pairing process between a TPH700 radio terminal and a UDT device running under Android, Windows and iOS.
No modification of either the radio terminal or the UDT device is required to pair them successfully.

Pairing features:
• once paired, both devices can anytime be re-connected via the Bluetooth technology.
• The devices remain paired even if switched off or if their batteries are removed.
• More devices can be paired at the same time.
• To cancel pairing, delet the paired device from the radio terminal.
• If pairing is deleted only from the UDT device, it can be re-established without using SPD.

The pairing procedure is as follows: 

1. Connection of the UDT device to SPD using a standard USB cable
2. The SPD Wizard application starts automatically (the application must be first installed)
3. Connection of the radio terminal to SPD using a standard data cable
4. The UDT device is detected by the radio terminal
5. Disconnection of the radio terminal from SPD (Bluetooth connection and cable connection cannot be used at the same time)
6. Pairing (initiated by the radio terminal)
7. Connection and data communication function testing (carried out automatically by the SPD Wizard application)
8. Disconnection of UDT
