The roots of SIM Aviation Academy brings us back to year 2002 when the company SIM sas has been founded in the city of Dinard, France. Former professionals of airline Air Liberté has started the business by buying Fokker Full Flight Simulators: Fokker 100, Fokker 29 and Fokker 28. After 8 years of very successful operations, the Company has begun its expansion by firstly opening the Training Center in Johannesburg and then in Paris and Dubai. In parallel, the theoretical aviation training business lines have been developed significantly.

Today SIM Aviation Academy together with partnerships and large team of international instructors acts in the following aviation training areas:
Approved Training Organisation (ATO) for flight crew trainingCabin Crew TrainingAircraft Maintenance Training Ground Staff Training
Besides of that, SIM Aviation Academy provides various common aviation courses, from Aviation Security to Aviation English.

Currently SIM aviation group operates 4 Training centers:

• Paris Training Center, located in Paris near CDG Airport. There are 8 Full Flight Simulators and fully equiped Cabin Crew Training School facility.
• Dinard Training Center, located in the city of Dinard, France. There are 2 Full Flight Simulators in this training center.
• Johannesburg Training Center, located in Johannesburg, South Africa. There are 4 Full Flight Simulators in this training center.
• Dubai Training Center, located in Dubai, UAE. There are 3 Full Flight Simulators in this training center.
