If swan-neck or in-ear send / receive systems cannot be worn under respiratory masks or full-protection suits, then one needs professional alternatives. CeoTronics offers a very special solution for such cases: a send / receive system with a bone-conduction microphone. The original CT-ContactCom communications system is equipped with a special contact microphone that picks up and transmits voice directly from the bones of the skull.
The original CT-ContactCom design was complete and registered as a patent by 1989. This system is perfect for use with helmets and masks, since its special design incorporates a flexible anti-aging helmet gaiter that ensures optimum contact to the skull surface and clear voice transmission.
This also prevents the occurrence of pressure points or injuries e.g. from a blow to the helmet surface. Optionally, a safety plug connector is also available for integration into the cable.
