Product Description

Our FE 1720G is based on the Talon platform which we have found to be a very solid general “G” purpose plane for a variety of uses.  It has the most cargo capacity of any plane we sell and can fly for several hours when loaded up with batteries.  Up to 4 cameras can be used on this platform.  A downward facing camera mount and a 45 degree camera mount inside the fuselage provides excellent aerial terrain photography and video while our 360 degree Pan Tilt for the flight camera and a GoPro provides excellent FPV control and recording.  We customize the front pod using a durable ABS plastic skid plate and FPV platform for better rigidity and equipment mounting options.  We also add a quick attachment detail to the V tail so this plane can be easily dismantled into 5 pieces for traveling and storage.

EPO foam and internal carbon wing reinforcement rods give this plane very good structural integrity.  The spacious fuselage is easy to access and allows for different camera, battery and equipment installs.  The pusher motor location ensures no prop strikes using 13″ propellers so this plane is more efficient and safer than many others. It is a very well thought out design which can also be launched from the ground or by hand.  It will fly fast, slow, far or efficient depending on the equipment used and how we set it up.
