An EVA Air Cargo Boeing 747-400 freighter, registration B-16407 performing flight BR682 from Shenzhen to Taipei, landed on Taipei's runway 23L at 4:19 a.m. L, during roll out the crew observed increasing control difficulties, managed to vacate the runway, however, the aircraft became disabled on the turn off with all 8 tyres on the left main and 2 tyres on the right main gear deflated.

The airport reported tyre debris was found about half way down the runway until the aircraft vacated the runway. At the time of landing there was a shower, visibility was 8000 meters, runway and approach lighting were operating normally. The runway was closed for 6 hours until first investigation and clean up had been accomplished.
