A number of female college students in Sichuan province recently took part in a recruitment exercise for flight attendants. China Southern Airlines, one of the top three airlines in China, held a flight attendant recruitment fair in Sichuan, attracting nearly 2,000 applicants. In addition to requirements relating to appearance and temperament, applicants were also expected to meet high standards for language ability and people skills.
