Flexjet, today welcomed the first aircraft—a Nextant 400XTi—to its dedicated fleet. It plans to have three of the remanufactured light jets in this fleet by the end of this mo
nth and a
bout 10 dedicated aircraft, including at least one larger business jet model, within a year. The company also currently has five managed aircraft on property.
Its dedicated fleet will be made available to U.S.-ba
sed Flexjet owners who need point-to-point private jet travel within the region or to the Middle East or Africa. Flexjet Ltd. is also exploring offering its dedicated aircraft for charter through “select” European charter brokers.
The aircraft are being operated under Birmingham Airport-ba
sed FlairJet’s UK CAA air operator certificate (AOC), which Flexjet Ltd. acquired in August. Flexjet Ltd. CEO Ray Jo
