Défense Conseil International (DCI) is growing, the organization said. The reference operator of the French Defense Ministry is inaugurating new facilities at its second pilot school, the International Helicopter Training Center (CIF-H), and is also acquiring three Airbus Helicopters EC120s.
Undergoing infrastructure changes since it started aeronautical programs in May 2015, it offers e-learning tools, simulators, serious games and real-time flight monitoring screens. Courses range from initial pilot training to operational missions. CIF-H is located within the French military pilot training schools at Dax and Luc-en-Provence, which allows it to work in cooperation with the French Army’s light aviation unit (ALAT).
CIF-H's EC120s have pilot training modifications, completed by DCI subsidiary HeliDax. They are outfitted with same avionics suites that are used by ALAT and come with glass cockpit technologies and night vision goggles.
