The Bismarck Airport is continuing operations despite blizzard conditions.
"We launched out all of our morning flights," airport manager Greg Haug said, with just one or two delays for de-icing.
Haug said his employees have been plowing, keeping runways and taxiways clear for flights.
However, weather conditions dropped below what is required by some other airlines.
Delta canceled its first inbound flight from Minneapolis. Haug said there could be more delays and cancellations throughout the day. Two Delta flights are scheduled for delayed departures this afternoon.

"It's entirely up to the airlines," Haug said.
Either way, the airport crew is keeping the runway take-off and landing ready in case the weather should clear and visibility improve.
Minot's airport has canceled nearly all of its flights for the day.
Williston's airport director Steven Kjergaard said they had one cancellation yesterday but the airport remains operational.
